Let us go into the house of the LORD 081413

Today’s Bible Reading –

Psalms 121 – 125;  Philippians 3

Selected verses…

Old Testament –

“I was glad when they said unto me, ‘Let us go into the house of the LORD.’ Our feet shall stand within Thy gates, O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together: whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.”  Psalm 122:1-5 (KJV)

New Testament –

“Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.”  Philippians 3:1-3 (KJV)
